About

Node-based visual programming environment widely used for audio-reactive installations and live visuals.

TouchDesigner is a real-time visual development platform in which projects are built by wiring together operators for 3D, compositing, data and audio. Audio inputs can be analysed into control channels, such as levels, frequency bands and onsets, which then drive geometry, particles, shaders and lighting.

It is used for concert visuals, interactive installations, projection mapping and broadcast graphics, and it integrates with MIDI, OSC, DMX, NDI and other software, including Ableton Live.

A Non-Commercial licence is free for personal and learning use, with output limited to 1280×1280. Commercial and Pro licences are required for paid work.
