Real-time music visualisation software for Mac and Windows with audio-reactive scenes for DJs, VJs and streamers.
Synesthesia generates live visuals from incoming audio. It ships with around 80 built-in scenes, with more available through its scene marketplace, and its audio analysis drives scene parameters automatically so visuals follow the music without manual programming.
For performance, scene controls can be mapped to MIDI and OSC, and media such as videos, logos and webcams can be layered and processed. Output can be sent full-screen to projectors or shared with other software via Syphon or Spout and NDI, which is how it is often combined with OBS, Resolume or lighting systems.
Scenes are written in a shader-based format, and the built-in live coding environment can import shaders from Shadertoy and ISF, so technically minded users can author their own audio-reactive scenes.
