Open-source, cross-platform reimplementation of MilkDrop, available as a library and in several media players.

projectM is an open-source reimplementation of the Winamp MilkDrop visualiser written as a modern, reusable library. It reads MilkDrop preset files and renders them with OpenGL, which allows the MilkDrop preset ecosystem to run on Linux, macOS and Windows.

Because it is a library, projectM appears inside other software as well as in its own standalone front-ends. Integrations include media players and media-centre software, and the project is maintained on GitHub under the LGPL 2.1 licence.
