About
After Effects plugin that converts frequency ranges of an audio track into keyframes for animation.
Sound Keys analyses an audio layer in Adobe After Effects and generates keyframes from the level of chosen frequency ranges, shown on a 32-band spectrum. Those keyframes can then be linked to any property, so layers scale, move or change with the music.
It is commonly combined with Trapcode Particular or Form to build audio-driven particle visuals, and it is a long-standing approach for motion designers making custom music visualisers. It is sold by Maxon as part of Red Giant's Trapcode tools.
